Cazadores are mutated insects that do not appear in the main canon of Fallout: Equestria, but does appear in at least some side-fics such as Fallout: Equestria - Silence.
These type of insects are extremely dangerous in greater numbers; while only one can be proven easy pickings, three or more can be significantly deadly.
Biology[]
Unlike Cazadorables, regular Cazadores almost retain the same appearance found in the game Fallout: New Vegas. While they do not possess hypnotic abilities, their sheer unpredictability combined with a large swarm can easily overwhelm their victims, no matter how well-equipped they are. In addition, their poisonous stingers are proven to be fatal without an antivenom. And no, fighting with eyes closed are not an option, as they don't really rely on hypnotic abilities; their complete unpredictability can be a real challenge on even the most hardened Wastelanders.
They also repopulate by mating and laying Cazador eggs and no matter how extremely territorial they can be, they are still by far the deadliest, even far surpassing a Deathclaw when it comes to great numbers.
Additionaly, the main source would be the result of the Cazador Queen (yet to be mentioned, but confirmed), with the addition of Dr. Scalpel, who is very likely responsible for the rapid Cazador population.
