Plot[]
Setting[]
The story is set around the Vanhoover Region of Equestria, a year or so before the events of the original Fallout: Equestria. It is told in the first person perspective of Corporal Nimbus of the Grand Pegasus Enclave.

Beyond the eternal cloud cover of the Equestrian Wasteland, the pegasi live in ignorance of the daily horrors surface-dwelling ponies are facing; radiation, Taint, and the results of the sadistic experiments created by Stable-Tec, not to mention the cut-throat raider gangs and parties of slavers. But for Corporal Nimbus, a scout for the Pegasus Enclave, the reality of the terrestrial world is all too obvious, and it's not pretty.
When his father is declared a Dashite, and his reputation in the Enclave teetering on the edge of the clouds themselves, leaning towards the abyss, there is only one thing he can do.

The mane characters[]
Corporal Nimbus - A scout for the Grand Pegasus Enclave, and the son of another scout. He is noble in heart and has good leadership skills. He is easily disturbed by the horrors of the wasteland. He is fast and perceptive and has an intrinsic knowledge of weapons, particuarily energy weapons, but lacks in toughness or strength. He has training in power armour and magical energy weapons. Prefers pistols and rifles over larger weapons. His cutie mark is a grey cloud. He is bisexual.
Private Final - A scout for the Grand Pegasus Enclave. A good friend and loyal subordinate of Nimbus. She is rebellious in nature, having not had the best reputation with most high-ranking Enclave officers. She is unusually lucky, rather charismatic and as agile as Nimbus, but a little dim. She always wears clothing. She is heterosexual.
