The Fallout: Equestria RPG is a fanmade videogame adaption of Fallout: Equestria, created as a homage to the original isometric Fallout games. It is currently a work in progress, although since the game is open source one can compile the source code to test it out at any time.
The game is more in line with the traditional Fallout games than the third installment in the series, with turn-based combat and a similar overall interface.
Unusually for a My Little Pony fangame, the Fallout: Equestria RPG utilizes 3D rendering and is based off of the Panda3D engine. Because of this it is multiplatform and thus is possible to run on all major desktop operating systems.
An interesting, developer-oriented feature is the inclusion of a game editor, which would make creating modifications and even standalone games based off of other Fallout: Equestria fanfics remarkably easy (provided that one has 3D artists, of course). Artificial intelligence, dialogue, quests and whatnot can be scripted using the versatile AngelScript language.
