The Big Book of Arcane Sciences is a massively comprehensive text on the subject of Arcane Sciences (a.k.a. Magic). The book likely was used as a learning aid for unicorns in the classrooms of stables and may have provided some information regarding the use of magical technology (i.e. terminals). Littlepip takes a copy of the book with her in case she gets bored when she leaves Stable 2.

The Big Book of Boom! -- The Dynamite Guide to Handling Explosives[]

The Big Book of Boom! serves as the Equestrian version of "Duck and Cover!" a skill book granting a bonus to the Explosives skill.

The Egghead's Guide to Running[]

The Egghead's Guide to Running was a pre-war book providing tips and advice on how to race and pace yourself while running. Littlepip read a copy of this book from Twilight Sparkl

e's Athenaeum and applied it while travelling across Splendid Valley to Old Olneigh without alerting the hellhounds.

Guns and Bullets[]

Guns and Bullets is a book found by Littlepip in the Ponyville Library. It has a picture of a revolver on the cover. Following its game based origins and Littlepip's own Bookworm perk, it grants a bonus to the Small Guns skill, a useful boost at the start of her adventure.

Increasing Your Sales Figures[]

Increasing Your Sales Figures grants a bonus to the Barter skill. The cover of the book features a satisfied customer eating an apple.

Martial Arts of the Zebras[]

Martial Arts of the Zebras is the Hoof to Hoof fighting skill book in FOE.

Principles of Proper Pony Speech[]

The speech book within Littlepip's tale, Principles of Proper Pony Speech is a Ministry of Image production and provides a bonus to the Speech skill.

The subtitle to the book reads "Refining how we think by refining how we speak."

Supernaturals is a book containing a wide variety of home-cures and natural remedies. Zecora and Twilight Sparkle both posessed a copy of this book, using it to find a cure for Poison Joke. Littlepip finds a copy in a crashed Ditzy Doo Deliveries wagon in Chapter 9, which is later used to help formulate the Killing Joke remedy used to save Fluttershy.

The Stallion in the Moon[]

The Stallion in the Moon is a book found in Stable 24. It would appear to be an alternate version of "The Mare in the Moon", the book which describes the Nightmare Moon prophecy. The book was probably rewritten as a part of Stable 24's male-dominant social experiment.

TLC Squared: "Tender Loving Care for Totally Lost Causes"[]

TLC Squared is the FOE equivalent of Dean's Electronics from the Fallout games, increasing the repair skill. Littlepip finds her mentor's copy after returning to Stable 2, fondly remembering him reading it often.

The Wasteland Survival Guide is a reference guide written by Ditzy Doo sometime after the Great War. The book is introduced to Littlepip by Watcher, who tells her where she can find a copy. The copy she finds, however, is located inside of the Ponyville Library which was turned into a raiders nest. This book was the only way to survive out in the wasteland. The Book even has a "Hoofington Edition" exclusive to Project Horizons,

Today's Locksmith is a war-era skill book with details concerning picking locks and lock mechanisms. Littlepip acquired a copy of this book from Stable 24. Derived from Tumblers Today appearing in Fallout New Vegas, the skill book grants a gain to the Lockpicking skill, boosted by Littlepip's Bookworm perk.

Zebra Infiltration Tactics[]
