Marigold is a resident of Marefort and a long time friend of Silver Storm.
History[]
Background[]
Marigold grew up in Marefort around Meadow, Silver Storm, and Wildfire. Being their elder, and due to the position of her mother, she was often placed in charge of managing their scavenging work around the settlement. While organizing a scavenging operation into the western building of Marefort, Silver accidentally discovered Star Metal bullets in a wooden box. This led to a confrontation with Smooth Tongue which resulted in the execution of Mayor Mare and Forest Fire, the shooting of Silver Storm, and the abduction of Meadow, all of which she was present for.
Marigold's mother was the scavenging supervisor of Marefort, a position she likely inherited. This gave her a significant amount of clout in Marefort, and eventually allowed her to rise to a position of leadership in the settlement. With this position, she was able to successfully able to negotiate for the independence of Marefort from the Crimson Hoof, with the help of Mayor Mare, Nos, and Wildfire.
Shortly after negotiating independence Marefore was attacked by raiders. During the assault, Silver Storm rescued Marigold from a raider who was holding her up at gunpoint in her home. Then Silver was able to lead Marigold out of Marefort to a nearby cliffside where the guard house was located. After escaping, she was able to run to Smooth Tongue to get help from the Crimson Hoof to liberate the town from the raider, and in turn, reestablishing Marefort as a subject of the Crimson Hoof.

Marigold still holds a leadership position within Marefort and has some sort of relationship with Nos according to Wildfire.
