Marzee Tomato is an earth pony mare in the radioplay series Terminal Secrets. She is one of the main characters of the fifth episode of the series, AWAKE.

Biography[]

Marzee was born in a small rural community in central Equestria known as Grass Valley.

The family lived a relatively normal life cultivating their namesake crop on a plantation close to the middle of town.

Ever since she was young, Marzee would often play with one of the only fillies her age, Edge Tiller. They grew up as close friends over their adolescence, but as a teenager Marzee would grow fond of Tilly's older brother, Silo Hopper.

They would go on a few sporadic dates, but their relationship could never move much further. The Great War got much worse and the farms were struggling to maintain food output for the military and civilians alike. Both Marzee and Silo lost any free time they may have spent together tending to their family farms.

Privately, she dreamed of a day the war would be over so she and Silo could be together.

From Silo and Tilly's recommendation, Marzee and the Tomato family submitted their own applications for a place in Stable 10. Not long after that, they were summoned to the Stable itself for a medical evaluation, where they received a special vitamin shot.

That day drifted into distant memory, as she and many hundreds of other Grass Valley farmers had become unwitting participants in the Stable 10 experiment.

  • "You are a doll... But if you don’t like that we dressed you up, I can undress you instead..."
  • "No, no. No more of these stories. I cooked up some of Mama Tomato’s bisque. She used to swear it was the best thing for anything that ails you...I hope it helps."
