The Ministries were divisions of the Equestrian government created by Princess Luna after the abdication of her sister, Princess Celestia. To fill the power vacuum created in Celestia's absence, Luna appointed the bearers of the Elements of Harmony her Ministers.

The Mares of the Ministries were thereafter responsible for the Equestrian bureaucracy and research and development benefitting the war effort.

Ministry of Awesome: Rainbow Dash

• Although assumed by the general public to be dead weight, contributing nothing to Equestrian society nor the war effort, Rainbow Dash's Ministry of Awesome was in fact highly involved in clandestine activities as well as bleeding-edge reseach and development.
• One completed project has been cloud high towers able to sustain the growth of crops on clouds, thus allowing pegasi to be independent from the ground
• The MAw had one of the three Crusader maneframes, what they used it for was never disclosed
• MAw employed Equestria's best deep-cover operative trainers and even groomed Zecora as a double-agent.
• Single Pony Project (Chapter 15)
• In Chapter 30 it is established that MAw often usen cloud magic to render their technology inoperable to non-pegasi, a manufacturing technique later adopted by the Enclave.

Ministry of Peace: Fluttershy

• Curators of medical practice and research, the MP is known to have been the originator of megaspell technology.

Ministry of Morale: Pinkie Pie

Pinkie Pie's Ministry of Morale was publicly intended to bolster the spirits of the unsure civilian population of Equestria during the war, but in fact was used by the Mare of the Ministry for close surveillance of the entire nation in light of threat from zebra sympathizers. The Minister was in no way subtle about accomplishing her goals (Pinkie Pie is watching you, FOREVER!), and the position eventually took its toll, however, and Pinkie Pie became addicted to Party-Time Mint-als, relying on their benefits to get the job done at the cost of her self and her friendship with Twilight Sparkle.

• Pinkie Pie's need of PTM, as well as her love of a party, discouraged her from exacting any sort of control over the ilicit drug trade.

• On the Last Day of the Great War, Pinkie Pie's (albeit drug-enhanced) senses and Ministry intelligence tracked terrorists to a Four Star railway station in Manehattan who were in posession of a Balefire Bomb. Only a matter of moments before MM forces, including a detachment of MWT Steel Rangers, could secure the weapon, it was detonated, utterly destroying the Manehattan metropolitan area.
• Though it remains unclear which Ministry, if any, was responsible for memory orb or recollector technology, the MM used memory orb and black opal recordings extensively as evidence of seditious activity.

Ministry of Wartime Technology: Applejack

• The ministry appointed to develop most weaponry, armors and other technologies during the war
• Applejack was a target for several assassination attempts
• The MoWT created the Steel Rangers

Ministry of Arcane Sciences: Twilight Sparkle

• Is the ministry that was devoted to magical research of all kinds
• Researched most battle spells, including the shield spell
• Created many megaspells, including the Gardens of Equestria
• The MoAS is responisble for Taint and the birth of the Goddess

Ministry of Image: Rarity

• The ministry of Image was a "Hidden" Ministry Littlepip mentioned several things about it in the Red Eye Solo mission arc
• Said to have created most of the propaganda for other ministrys and furnish them etc
