The Opal Soda company was a company that made fruit flavored sodas before the war. It mostly was popular around the cities of Neigh Orleans and New Pegasus, and hasn't survived as well outside of these areas of the Wasteland. It never gained the popularity of Sparkle-Cola or Sunrise Sarsaparilla, but is still generally a source of currency in the areas of the Wasteland where it can be found.
It also seems to be the favored soda of Scootaloo.
