History[]
Backstory[]
According to Roy, he was once called Rollo, but at some point stopped going by that name because he stopped being fat.
Present Day[]
He is first mentioned in a radio broadcast, being interviewed over claims that the Mustangs attacked a power station.
Due to rumors of a potential usurper to the Mustangs, Roy Mustang hires Hired Gun to infiltrate and spy on the Baises to figure out what they are planning, because he believes Molly, the leader of the Baises to be the most likely culprit. As payment for the job, Roy offered to clear Hired Gun of her depts to the Mustangs, and a battle saddle mounted .50 caliber semi-automatic anti-materiel rifle.
When Hired Gun returns to Roy after being captured by the Baises, she informs him of the Baises plan to attack the Moon, but when doing so she lies by saying that they plan to attack via the sewers and that she was informed to open the basement door, when in reality they planned to attack by the alley. Due to the expected attack, Roy orders the tunnels beneath the Moon be stuffed with mines to hamper the Baises’ eminent assault.
During the attack on the Moon by the Baises, Hired Gun kills Roy Mustang by shooting him through the window of Roy’s office from a nearby building with the anti-materiel rifle that he gave to her, which is when Hired named it “Subtlely”.
