Sniper, introduced in chapter six: the statue's curse, is an elderly pony and leader of the chariot based Gun Runner convoy.
Sniper is a side character in the the Fallout: Equestria side story Fallout: Equestria - Ballad of a Crystal Pony.

He is the leader of a convoy of Gun Runner merchants that were stationed at the Chariot's finder's market. He is the one who posted the first job request Clash and friends went on to the Ironshod Manufacturing Factory.
As a thanks for completing the job and for her bravery when dealing with Marker (also because gun runners deal in non-magic weaponry and it was useless to them) he gave Clash a Beam Rifle. He also told her to mention his name with any Gun Runners and they'll give her a discount.
