– Xenith regarding her race

Xenith is a main character in Fallout: Equestria.

Background

Xenith is a zebra mare and former Fillydelphia slave. Xenith first met Littlepip as an opponent in Fillydelphia's fighting arena, the Pit. When Littlepip manages to escape the Pit, Xenith helps her try to escape Fillydelphia, carrying her when she is too weak to move. When Calamity, Velvet Remedy, and SteelHooves capture Stern, they ransom her back to Red Eye in exchange for Littlepip and Xenith's freedom.

Xenith's great grandparents were survivors of Stable 3, a failed stable made up entirely of zebras. The residents of the stable traveled accross the Equestrian Wasteland, attmepting to learn more about lost zebra history. Her grandparents did the same, eventually gathering an extensive knowledge of zebra alchemy, which they passed on to Xenith along with other lost zebra skills.

Xenith is captured by slavers at some point and brought to Fillydelphia. She silently endured years of torture, rape, and hard labor before entering the Pit and earning a fierce reputation as a gladiator. When facing Littlepip, she almost killed the little mare, but was knocked unconcious and rescued by her during the escape attempt. When she regained consciousness, Xenith decided to help Littlepip, to whom she now owes a life-debt. Along with the help of a very irradiated Pyrelight, the two manage to kill a Super Alicorn before being trapped and recaptured by Red Eye.

Xenith is revealed to have a daughter, Xephyr, who was spared by the slavers and left in Glyphmark. While in the vicinity of Canterlot, Xenith helps rescue her daughter's village. She later teaches the zebras of Glyphmark how to make certain drugs to stimulate the town's economy through trade.

Xenith, now traveling with Littlepip, has proven to be a very valuable asset. Her knowledge of zebra alchemy has saved them on more than one occasion, even once being used to save Velvet Remedy's leg after it is severed by a Hellhound. After entering the Everfree Forest with the gang, Xenith is attacked by the Killing Joke and forced into a crude cast of clotted blood by Littlepip. She was in critical condition but survived, following a dangerous operation by Life Bloom.

She fights at the battle of Fillydelphia along with her daughter with one goal in mind. The two are there to kill Stern the Griffin Talon, a personal enforcer and slave task master of Red Eye. During a violent fight, Stern tries to escape, but is pursued by Xenith, using a Bloodwing Talisman to grant herself a pair of wings. Together with Xephyr, she manages to kill Stern.

Appearance

Xenith is not described in great detail, but it is known that she has a black and white striped coat and mane like all zebras. She bears many scars, both physical and emotional, from the unspeakable horrors of Fillydelphia.

Skills

Xenith is an elite fighter and a master in unarmed combatant. She has perfected Fallen Caesar Style, a elegant and savage zebra fighting style taught to the Zebra Caesar's guards. She can also perform a special hoofstrike which temporarily paralyzes its target. She uses her mastery of stealth and unarmed fighting to silently and quickly dispatch opponents.

In addition to her fighting skills, Xenith is also a very skilled alchemist. She is capable of brewing several kinds of useful potions and poultices that have a wide variety of uses, from healing potions to poulitces that allow her to walk silently across ceilings.

Notes

Xenith cannot stand any form of physical contact and usually responds violently, even to something as friendly as a hug. This is due to the torture she endured in Fillydelphia and on incident in particular where she is raped with the horn of a dead unicorn.

Relationships

Littlepip - Xenith accepts Littlepip as responsible for her, much like a mother would care for a child. Xenith also feels obligated to aid Littlepip in any way she can, namely potion making and stealth techniques.

Calamity - Calamity has shown an instant liking for Xenith who returns the feelings respectfully.

Velvet Remedy - She gets on well with Velvet.

SteelHooves - Xenith had great respect for Steelhooves regardless of his apathy towards zebras.

Homage - Xenith initially doesn't like Homage due to her posession of an Alien blaster. This fear comes from Zebra lore in which Nightmare Moon and anything born of the stars is viewed as evil. She eventually begins to respect Homage when she realizes why Homage keeps it locked away
